Devers Group, Inc. was founded in 1983 by William J. Devers, Jr. as a vehicle for his own private investments in the software area. After years of successful investing the principals at DGI recognized a need for matching other high net worth investors seeking venture-type investments with quality companies who needed financing but not in an amount that would attract a typical venture capital firm. In response, DGI created Devers Private Equity Ventures, LLC.
